Can I use the StepRanger in rain and snow?

Absolutely! The StepRanger is designed to handle rain and typical outdoor conditions, similar to an ebike. While its electrical components and body are water-resistant and built for outdoor use, we recommend storing your StepRanger indoors or under cover when not in use—especially during prolonged periods or severe weather—to ensure optimal longevity and performance.

How long does it take to charge the StepRanger?

The StepRanger 48V battery can be fully charged in 5-6 hours with the included charger.

What is the StepRanger Warranty?

StepRanger One-Year Limited Warranty

StepRanger stands by the quality and durability of our electric wagons. Your StepRanger product is covered by a one-year limited warranty starting from the date you receive your item.

Warranty Coverage Includes:

• Defects in materials and workmanship.

• Electrical components, including motor, battery, charger, and controls.

• Structural integrity of the wagon body and frame.

Warranty Coverage Does Not Include:

• Normal wear and tear from regular use.

• Damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.

• Unauthorized repairs or modifications.

• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration).

If you experience any issues covered by this warranty, please contact us promptly. We will repair or replace your StepRanger at our discretion, free of charge.

What should I expect with freight delivery — will the StepRanger arrive in perfect condition?

We ship every StepRanger fully assembled and securely packaged on a pallet via freight carriers like FedEx Freight and other LTL services. These carriers are built for speed and heavy loads — not white-glove service — so minor cosmetic wear to the outer packaging or powder-coated frame is considered normal. This may include small scuffs, light scratches, or abrasions that occur during transit or handling.

We do everything we can to minimize this, including strong wrapping, cardboard shielding, and careful pallet placement. Most customers find the condition excellent on arrival, but if you’re expecting a showroom finish, it’s important to note: This is a rugged workhorse, not a delicate showpiece.

That said, if any part arrives damaged or broken, we’ll make it right — just contact us and we’ll take care of you.

Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?

Yes! We’re confident you’ll love your StepRanger, but if you’re not fully satisfied, we offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee from the date you receive your wagon. You can return it for a full refund, provided it’s in new condition with no damage or excessive wear. Please note that returns must be delivered at your expense to one of our pickup locations (Missoula, MT; San Francisco, Vallejo, or Forestville, CA). Contact us to arrange a return.

How much time does it take for my order to be delivered?

  • Local Delivery: We’ll contact you within 24 hours of ordering to schedule your delivery as soon as possible, typically within 2–3 business days.
  • Freight Shipping: We ship via FedEx Freight. Delivery times generally range from 3–10 business days, depending on your location.
How does local pickup work?

Local pickup is simple! At checkout, you’ll select your preferred pickup location (Missoula, MT; San Francisco, Vallejo, or Forestville, CA). If your chosen location doesn’t show available inventory, please reach out to us at hello@stepranger.com—we can often arrange to transfer inventory from another location. We’ll contact you promptly after your order to confirm details and arrange a convenient pickup time.

What happens if an ordered product is out of stock?

We strive to keep our product inventory updated, but occasionally an item may be unavailable. If an item in your order is out of stock, you will be notified via email and the unavailable item will be removed from your order.
