$250 per truck, liftgate delivery included

One flat freight rate per truck to anywhere in the lower 48, California included, with liftgate delivery.

We quote the truck and the freight separately, so you can see what each costs. Our actual freight cost per truck is higher than the flat rate, and we cover the difference.

Accessories ordered with a truck ship in its crate, with shipping included with a StepRanger order. Accessories ordered on their own ship by weight, and the cart shows the shipping before you check out.

Free local pickup

Pick it up free in Sebastopol, California or Missoula, Montana. It’s ready fully assembled, uncrated and ready to drive.

In parts of California and Montana, a local driver may deliver it uncrated instead of freight. We’ll tell you when we book.

After it ships

• We follow up as soon as freight is booked, with a more precise window.
• Tracking goes out the business day after pickup.
• The local delivery depot will contact you ahead of delivery.
• Freight isn’t parcel: it moves through terminals, so a slip of a few business days isn’t unusual.
• Travelling? We can hold the shipment until you’re back.

Delivery day

• It arrives crated on a box truck with a liftgate, so you don’t need a dock.
• The driver delivers to the curb or the end of the driveway and sets the crate on your property. Delivery to a door is up to the driver; standard freight doesn’t include it.
• Not home? You can arrange with the carrier to leave it.
• Hard-to-reach road or driveway? Tell us when you order. We’ve shipped to all 50 states and have always found a delivery solution.
• Your StepRanger ships fully assembled and crated, and arrives charged. The charger ships as a separate item in your order and plugs into any standard 110V outlet.

The crate

• Crate size: about 70.5 × 38 × 60.5 inches.
• Crated weight with a single battery, in our current crate: All-Terrain about 499 lb, Pro 60V about 521 lb. A Pro 60V dual-battery set adds about 68 lb. Some orders ship in a wood crate, which weighs more.
• We confirm the crate when we book, since the crate design can change.

If something’s damaged

If anything arrives damaged, we’ll get it resolved quickly.

What to do at delivery

1. Look the crate over before the driver leaves.
2. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before you sign.
3. Take photos of the crate and the damage.
4. Email the photos to us and we’ll ship what’s needed.

We ship to Canada regularly. Freight is quoted to your exact address.

GST or PST and the customs broker’s fee are paid on import by the buyer.

We ship to Alaska and Hawaii by quote. We get a direct freight quote for your address, to a dock or your door, and confirm the cost with you before you order.

Everywhere else

We ship within the US and to Canada. Outside those, tell us where you are and what you’d use it for, and we’ll let you know as soon as we can serve you.
