Display is dark but the truck still runs
If the display or battery readout goes dark but the truck drives normally, the fault is isolated to the display itself, which makes this an easy one.
This is usually quick to sort out. If these steps don’t fix it, call or text us and we’ll get it resolved.

- Designed behaviorBattery meter stays at 100%This is normal: the meter reads pack voltage, and sealed lead-acid voltage stays nearly flat through the first half-plus of the charge.
- Flat or leaking tireThe most common cause is a slow leak at the base of the valve stem.
- Powers on but won’t driveIf the headlight comes on and the battery gauge reads, the truck has power, and the cause is almost always one of the drive interlocks rather than a real fault.
