Installing the handlebars

On crated trucks the handlebars ship folded in a box in the rear bed with the cables already connected.

This is usually quick to sort out. If these steps don’t fix it, call or text us and we’ll get it resolved.

What to do

  1. Lift the handlebar assembly out gently so the cables don’t get pinched.
  2. Guide the black mounting bracket over the threaded stud on the steering column, with the headlight facing forward.
  3. Tighten the four clamp bolts and the central locking nut to 45 Nm with a 21 mm (13/16") socket.
  4. Secure the top cap nut.
  5. To square the bars, pop off the plastic column cover, loosen the four clamp bolts, realign, retighten and clip the cover back on.

Still not working? If a cable or the alignment gives you trouble, call or text us and we’ll walk you through it on a video call.
