Truck slows hard on gentle downhills

That’s the motor’s controlled-descent feature in Low on the speed switch, not the brakes.

What to do

  1. In Low on the speed switch (L/M/H), the motor slows the truck when you ease off the throttle.
  2. On gentle rolling slopes where it stops the truck too suddenly, move the speed switch to M or H. That turns off the descent hold and doesn’t change torque.
  3. Control your speed downhill with the hand brake instead.

Still not working? If the truck behaves differently than described, call or text us and we’ll get it resolved quickly.
