Throttle goes dead after sitting a moment

This is the Pro 60V’s throttle safety-lock, not a fault: the throttle is disabled at power-on and whenever the truck sits idle for about 10 seconds.

What to do

  1. Squeeze and release the brake lever. That arms the throttle again.
  2. If the truck sits idle for about 10 seconds, the throttle disarms again. Give the brake lever another quick squeeze.
  3. Make it a habit: a quick squeeze of the brake lever right before you pull away.

Still not working? If a brake squeeze doesn’t bring the throttle back, or the throttle spins freely instead of springing back, call or text us and we’ll get it resolved quickly. That’s a different issue, covered in Throttle not responding.
