- Open the crate. Wear gloves; the metal clips are sharp. Bend each tab straight with pliers so it pulls through its slot, then slide the panels apart.
- Install the handlebars if they came folded in the rear bed. Tighten the four clamp bolts and the central nut to 45 Nm with a 21 mm (13/16") socket.
- Charge it. It arrives 80–100% charged. The charger ships as a separate item in your order and plugs into any 110V outlet; it charges overnight.
- Arm the throttle. The throttle is disabled at power-on. Squeeze and release the brake lever right before you pull away.

Common fixes for the Pro 60V
- Pro 60V · Designed behaviorThrottle goes dead after sitting a momentThis is the Pro 60V’s throttle safety-lock, not a fault: the throttle is disabled at power-on and whenever the truck sits idle for about 10 seconds.
- Won’t power onWhen there are no lights and no response at all, it’s almost always something simple on the power side, starting with the battery switch.
- Powers on but won’t driveIf the headlight comes on and the battery gauge reads, the truck has power, and the cause is almost always one of the drive interlocks rather than a real fault.
- Pro 60VBattery gauge reads oddly or jumps aroundOn a Pro 60V, an odd or jumping battery reading usually means the two gauge-setting wires inside the headlight aren’t clipped together.
- Pro 60V · Designed behavior"Reverse" light is on while chargingNothing is wrong: the charger’s sticker has the POWER and REVERSE labels swapped, so the light marked REVERSE is the power light.
- Pro 60V · Designed behaviorTruck slows hard on gentle downhillsThat’s the motor’s controlled-descent feature in Low on the speed switch, not the brakes.
